A&J Honored with Prestigious King's Award for Enterprise for Outstanding Achievements in International Trade

A&J is proud to announce that it has been awarded the prestigious King's Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category, recognising its exceptional growth and success in global markets over the past three years. This accolade also marks a historic milestone as A&J becomes the first online school to receive this distinguished award.

The award was formally presented today by a Deputy Lieutenant of London following a reception at Windsor Castle, where Dr Jorge Pereira Campos, Chief Executive and Headmaster of A&J Education, and Sunny Jain, Head of Admissions, had the honour of meeting His Majesty The King.

The King’s Award for Enterprise is the highest official accolade for British businesses, recognising excellence in four categories: Innovation, International Trade, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity through Social Mobility. Bestowed by His Majesty The King, the award is a symbol of excellence and national recognition.

During the presentation, the Deputy Lieutenant emphasised the unique nature and significance of the award. “It’s a lovely day for it,” they remarked. “As a Deputy Lieutenant of London, assisting His Majesty’s personal representative, it’s a great honour to be here. This award comes straight from His Majesty, and I’m proud to present it on his behalf.”

Highlighting the collaborative spirit recognised by the award, the Deputy Lieutenant added: “There are loads of awards that go to individual people. But one of the things I absolutely love about the King’s Award for Enterprise is that it goes to a team. It’s for all of you. It recognises what you do together. So this is a celebration for all of you, not just one individual.”

The Deputy Lieutenant also underscored the award’s exclusivity and the rigorous process involved in securing it. “Let me tell you just how precious this award is. In London last year, only 25 organisations were awarded the King’s Award for Enterprise. I know how difficult it is to get – the inspectors go there, you probably had to show lots of evidence and answer lots of questions, demonstrating increased international trade over three years. It’s really, really difficult to get.”

Commenting on this monumental achievement, Dr Jorge Pereira Campos said: “Receiving the King’s Award for Enterprise is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. Meeting His Majesty at Windsor Castle is a moment we will treasure forever. This recognition inspires us to continue pushing the boundaries of online education and to empower students worldwide to achieve their dreams.”

As a recipient, A&J will receive a beautiful scroll and a distinctive crystal trophy, which will be proudly displayed. The organisation is also entitled to use the King’s Award for Enterprise emblem on its website and promotional materials for the next five years.
